Day 1
Arrive in Geneva
Train from Geneva Airport > Zermatt (via Visp) with SNCF (3h45m)
Check in to Unique Hotel Post
Explore Town, visiting the Matterhorn Museum
Drinks at Hotel Alex: sit amongst traditional Swiss decor, try one or two of their delightful cocktails
Dinner at Brown Cow, Hotel Post: easy going atmosphere, serving tasty burgers
Day 2
Mountain biking up to Schwarzsee Map
Breakfast at Hotel
Coffee at Homemade Cafe
Rent mountain bikes (and accessories) from Slalom Sports
Start cycle, have a coffee break at Restaurant Simi, Furi
Lunch at Zum See: delightful restaurant located in a small hamlet. Local cuisine, offers a variety of dishes. Worth booking in advance by phone.
Cycle back to Zermatt
Dinner at Grampi's: restaurant with a lively atmosphere, serving delicious pizzas and other Italian food.
Head to Stephanie's Creparie next door for some desert (cash only)
Drinks back at Hotel Post
Day 3
Five lakes hike Map (follow paths 4-3-7-11-6)
Breakfast at Hotel
Morning hike: Zermatt > Fluhalp (paths 4, 3 & 7) via Stellisee Lake. Bring a snack for the mountain.
Lunch at Fluhalp: restaurant with one of the best views in Zermatt, famous for their Rosti (Swiss specialty)
Afternoon hike: Fluhalp > Zermatt (paths 11 & 6) via Grindjisee Lake, Greunsee Lake (swimming), Moosjisee Lake and Leisee Lake (great for children)
Have a pit-stop at Alder Hitta Lounge
Hit the spa in Hotel Post
Dinner at Cafe du Pont: an authentic Swiss experience, serving Raclette
Day 4
Hike up to Riffelsee Lake Map (follow paths 14-23-22)
Check out of Hotel Post leaving bags in reception
Coffee at SonnMatten Cafe, located at the start of the walk
Hike: Zermatt > Riffelsee Lake via Riffelalp
Have a break at Riffelalp Resort
Arrive at Riffelsee Lake, have a picnic here.
Take the train down from Reffelberg
Pickup bags from hotel and catch the train back to Geneva Airport

Rent skis from Slalom Sports
Take lifts up to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise
Ski from 6am-12pm
