Walk down Royal Mile to Palace of Holyroodhouse
Taxi or walk round Holyrood Park from Scottish Parliament Building > The Sheeps Heid Inn, Duddingston
Lunch at The Sheep Heid Inn, serving Scottish pub food and real ale for over 600 years, with a similarly veteran skittle alley.
Walk up Arthurs Seat
Drinks at Bramble Bar & Lounge, Upscale cocktail bar in understated, subterranean venue, serving classic and nouveau concoctions.
Dinner at l’escargot blue, upbeat, French bistro with white walls and posters for a classic French menu using local produce.
Day 3
Breakfast at Dishoom, an amazing breakfast — Bombay style
Walk up Carlton Hill for one last view of Edinburgh
Visit the Scottish National Gallery
Tour of The Real Mary King’s Close
Late lunch at Ondine, presents sustainable fish dishes in a light, modern, elegant space, with oyster bar.
